How to Make Oreo Milkshake Without Ice Cream

Blend oreos and cold milk straight out of the fridge for a nice glass of oreo milkshake without ice-cream. You can easily double this recipe to share with the rest of the family as well. The cool thing about making homemade shakes is you can better control the portion especially if you are sharing it with others.

    Ingredients

    • Oreos
    • Milk of your choice

    Equipment

    • Blender
    Vitamix Explorian Blender, Professional-Grade, 64 oz. Low-Profile Container, Black - 65542 (Refurbished)

    Variations

    • Chocolate milk tastes REALLY good with this recipe! Simply swap it out for the regular milk or plant-based milk that you'll use for this recipe. *Just know that using chocolate milk will add more sugar.
    • Chocolate syrup
      • This recipe doesn't have chocolate syrup. I did it on purpose to limit the added sugars. You can if you'd like, add 1 or 2 teaspoons of chocolate syrup. This variation would add less sugar than using chocolate milk ;-).
    • Use different oreos...or other cookies!
      • The possibilities are endless here. Chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter, snickerdoodle, whatever you like! Have some fun with it.

It was incredibly watery and does not have a thick consistency like I wanted.

Sorry to hear that! Next time I would try reducing the liquid to 4 ounces and leaving off the ice cubes. From there more or less milk can be added to your liking.
