Add broth, onion and all the seasonings to the slow cooker then stir together.
Add cabbage to completely to the top of the slow cooker.
Cook on HIGH heat.
At the 3 hour mark:
Depending on your preference for level of tenderness, you can start to check cabbage at the 3 hour mark. Between 3 hours and 30 minutes up to 4 hours is tender.
Give it a good stir before serving and enjoy!

Pairs well with chicken and rice
After you've added the broth, onion and seasonings fill the slow cooker to the top with cabbage. The lid should fit nicely.Although I will say, if there is a small amount of cabbage left I stuff it on top and still place the lid on. It may not fit nicely, but eventually the cabbage cooks down anyway.
Tip: You can also cook these on low for 7-8 hours.
The amount of salt used can be adjusted based on your preferences and dietary needs. I wouldn't suggest using more than 1 teaspoon of salt for the recipe.
