My cultural roots are a combination of African American and Bahamian (the Bahamas). I grew up eating many southern foods and pigeon peas 'n rice.
I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a Culinary Nutrition Certification. I am the recipe developer and food photographer behind The Miller's Kitchen. I am a firm believer that southern and cultural foods can fit into a healthy diet.
